Angelina Jolie on the Master Cleanse
Filed under: CELEBRITY STYLE, Celebrity, News
Does Angelina Jolie think she's fat? We don't! That's Angelina on the right at the Oscars, looking svelte and lovely -- perhaps not her skinniest, but who cares if she's stick-skinny? She's a stone cold fox! Maybe it's for the character in her upcoming film, maybe it's pressure from the studios, but for whatever reason, Angelina Jolie is reportedly on the Master Cleanse -- which made its name when Beyonce used it to drop weight for Dreamgirls -- and people are getting worried ...According to The Sun, "she aims to shed 21lb in just 21 days for her role as a CIA officer unmasked as a Russian spy."
The role is in the upcoming movie Salt. Are Russian spies supposed to be skinny? With all those potatoes and vodka?
A source told The Sun: "She does all her own stunts but we worry she could injure herself due to the weight loss."
We tried the Master Cleanse -- a liquid fast of weird lemonade made with maple syrup, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper -- a couple of times, and while it seems like a fine way to lose weight quickly for an event (or a role), the weight does come right back. That said, it's toilet hell and you wouldn't have seen us attempting stunts.
Angie probably has, like, six doctors watching her -- we don't recommend any drastic diet like this without talking to your physician. Anyway, keep your eyes on the tabloids for a miraculously shrinking Angelina!
Here are some safer organic lemon juice cleanses -- for your skin!

The skin defends us from harmful substances entering our body, and it eliminates numerous toxins introduced through ingestion or even via the skin itself. This takes task off our Liver and Kidneys to filter out by-products from our body’s metabolism. The skin also breathes and plays a chief role in our immune system. So it is always advisable to have high quality skin products for better results and healthy skin.
