There are so many feminine shapes going on in fashion right now (read: ruffles, flirty dresses) and pastels are the perfect way to make a look go even girlier. But that's the obvious, not to mention safe, way to go.

Instead, step outside of the box and pair these springtime hues with a more structured silhouette like a tailored blazer, an architectural shoe, or even a sexy dress. Pairing these items with such a sweet hue will take the severity down a notch into feminine, but not frilly, territory.
