Breakup Makeup - Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson Edition

In case you haven't heard, LiLo and DJ Sam have split over cheating rumors -- it's all over Twitter.
Now to deal with the breakup aftermath: puffy eyes, dark circles, dull, tired skin and any stress-induced breakouts. Good thing we know a fair bit about how to camouflage, downplay and otherwise blur these issues.
HIDE THOSE CRYING EYES: As far as puffy eyes go, the best thing to do is apply a cold compress, but you can also use cold, soaked tea bags to calm the area (as long they're not earl grey), or refrigerated eye gel (we love Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel).
FAKE A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP: Boost your complexion with an exhilarating scrub (trust us: Philosophy The Great Mystery) that'll leave you looking refreshed. Use an eye brightener (try Smashbox Photo Op Undereye Brightener) that you can apply both under eyes and on the top lid to reflect light and give the illusion that you've had a full night's rest and you weren't playing your couples' greatest hits list on iTunes mental patient rotation.
DON'T CAKE IT ON: As far as makeup goes, keep it simple, as you never know when your tears may get the best of you (we remember hysterically crying once in physics class, much to the amusement of our lab partners). A coat of waterproof mascara and lip gloss will suffice.
THE REVENGE MAKEOVER - DON'T DO IT! If you're thinking now's the time to get a new haircut (hello Reese, post-Ryan) or a tattoo (Rihanna?), you may want to hold off and try a more temporary fix, like a faux bob or washable body art. Why not treat yourself to some new skinny jeans (hey, you've lost five pounds since food lost its taste)? You're in no shape for life-altering changes, stick to baby steps.
