Whenever Angelina gives birth, beauty publicists launch a thousand goodie bags to her people, hoping that their luxury products will make it somewhere near the baby's tush.

So I can just imagine that The First Dog's arrival has sparked a similar frenzy among pet-product publicists, who were likely stuffing bags all weekend and paying through the nose to have their wares overnighted to Obama's camp.

While there isn't an official report on what swag was sent, for Bo's sake, I'm hoping that it included some of these top-shelf doggie beauty lines, according to those in the know ...

Tinkerbell may be Paris Hilton's most famous pet but she certainly isn't her only animal. The heiress owns 17 dogs and is so fond of dressing them up she created her own line of dog clothing called Little Lily by Paris Hilton.

Les Poochs. Stars stock up on Les Poochs shampoos and conditioners at Precious Pets NYC, the doggie boutique loved by celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson. With antioxidants and botanical extracts, the products seem eerily similar to the luxe stuff they're already used to slathering on their own precious bods.

Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa. Created by Lorenzo Borghese (heir to the Borghese cosmetics empire and formerly of The Bachelor), this line uses Italian botanicals to create extra gentle products that also moisturize dogs' skin.

Earthbath. The New York Dog Spa and Hotel is partial to this line of all-natural puppy products, which are free of soap, enzymes, and phosphates. And because it's biodegradable, too, I think that would appeal to Obama's eco-friendly side, don't you?

The FURminator.
Though this isn't the best choice for Portuguese Water Dogs like Bo, your run-of-the-mill furry dogs really benefit from a good brush with The FURminator, according to the pros at The New York Dog Spa and Hotel. Look past the tool's scary-sounding name -- it quickly de-sheds and adds shine.

Hopefully we'll find out someday what Bo uses in private, but you can be darn sure that this dog will be impeccably groomed whenever he's trotted out for the public.
