Is Fergie Losing her Hair?

A rumor-plagued newlywed is nothing special in Hollywood. Many blushing brides fall victim to the standard is-she-or-isn't she pregnant, or are-they-or-aren't-they-happy variety, but the whispers about Fergie are unique. The buzz around Josh Duhamel's new Mrs. is that she's losing her hair. This recent shot of Fergalicious shows the singer with an unusually wide part and what looks like it could be the beginning of a bald patch at the crown of her head. The former Black Eyed Pea isn't in need of a wig quite yet, the problem does seem to be getting worse since she went brunette. While there are many possible reasons for Fergie's increased scalp exposure (too many dye jobs, extensions, genetics) Nunzio Saviano, senior stylist at Oscar Blandi, told Star magazine that "it mainly happens because of stress and dieting." As if brides to be didn't have enough to worry about, now fitting into your dress could cause you to lose your hair! For a look at a fuller-locked Fergie, and the other brunette beauties in Hollywood, check out the gallery below.

The most recent addition to the blonde-to-brunette club is Fergie. The singing diva traded her dark blonde locks for this seriously slick shade of chocolate brown, with mahogany highlights.
Sarah Jessica Parker was seen on strolling the New York City streets sporting tussled chocolate tresses. SJP may be enjoying her last few months of "normalcy" before rejoining her sassy gang to begin shooting part two of Sex and the City this summer.
What do you think of SJP's new look? Are you feeling the brown hair? Should she return to her iconic wavy gold strands?

It's much more important for a woman to not lose her hair or to have thinning hair than to find the right color. My hair was thinning out and I even had a bald spot until I discovered Provillus. Not many things can be more embarrassing to a woman. But I found out that YOU CAN REGROW YOUR HAIR. Provillus is an amazing product that helps women regrow their hair. It contains special supplements along with the only ingredient approved by the FDA to regrow hair. I can't tell you how its changed my life. http://tinyurl.com/YouCan-Regrow

Maybe you should leave people alone, & stop attempting to humiliate them with fat shots, bald shots, inadvertent exposure shots & the like.

I agree with you cole!

I agree, this is mean spirited and there is nothing positive that could come out of this article. No facts just assumptions. Yeah I am defensive about this because my mother has gone thru this and lost 1/2 of her beautiful thick hair and there was nothing that could be done about it. Leave Fergie alone and hope it doesn't happen to you.

I agree with you Cole. I think it's mean spirited to call attention to people's problems, such as hair loss, but I think I know where it's going. It gives the person who posted above you an opportunity to put in a plug for what every it is s/he is selling. So obviously this article was started by People magazine/AOL, just so that they can sell their shit online.

This type of baldness happens to people when they yo-yo diet or lose weight too quickly. If that's the case, it should grow back.

Yes all those things can cause hair loss but so can some medical issues. I have a thyroid disorder. Whenever my thyroid medication is too low, my hair falls out. It is most noticeable on the crown of my head. When my medication is adjusted it grows back.

I have a thyroid condition as well, at first I could have sworn the doctor said I had hypo, now she says I have hyper, but most of my symptons are from a person who has hypo, now I noticed i'm not as cold anymore or as fatigue so maybe the doctor is right and now I have hyperthyroidism. I'm not on any medication, she gave me meds but I rather go about this holistically with herbs. I hope this works, I do have a little goiter in my neck but it seems to have gotten smaller since I been taking my herbs

I'M SO THANKFUL YOU SHARED THAT ABOUT THE THYROID. MY HAIR WAS FALLING OUT TOO AND I WAS DEVESTATED. I'M STILL GETTING MY MEDS BALANCED. IT STOPPED FALLING OUT BUT I DIDN'T KNOW IF IT WOULD GROW BACK. SO YOU SAYING YOURS GROWS BACK WHEN YOUR MED DOSE IS RIGHT IS SO GREAT TO HEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

I disagree. Fergie looks no were near the way the King's Queen looks now. First of all, because Fergie is so much younger than Priscilla could ever be! Second, the photos could've been doctored up. I AOL and People Magazine!

Oh Brother i know the paparazzi is getting bored when they start making up silly crap like Fergie going bald... It looks to me like Fergies hair is really light and now that she dyed it dark the light part grows in and makes it look like a wide part when its just the variation in hair color... Maybe yall should just leave ppl alone... Go after Verizon... they actually do suck...But your prolly scared they'll zap your gossipberry...

You're absolutely right! I just saw this last night on E!news. Fergie's hairstylist said she(Fergie) is a natural blonde and that was just her own color growing in.
Msstylista 4-18-2009 @ 3:53PM
Yeah you can't fool a true Fergie fan. We love her as blonde and brunette! i wish they would find something else to do than pick on my girl FergieFerg... but thanks for letting me know!
thyroid 4-16-2009 @ 3:55PM

a LOT of women have thinning hair starting in their 30s. the world needs to get over it. we're not young and beautiful forever and most 'treatments' are scams. the more contrast between the hair color and the scalp color, the more obvious it is, so yes it looks worse as a brunette
