Boobs - When Bigger Isn't Better

Like cookies n' cream or peanut butter and jelly, showbiz and big boobs just go together.

I'm not saying it's right, I'm just stating the facts. They don't film Dr. 90210 there just for fun, y'know. But as of late, there's been a small uprising among the big-busted.

Take Cheryl Cole. The UK pop star has a figure to die for -- so much that Lily Allen even wrote a song about her body envy for her -- but lately, Cole's been blabbing about what a burden her not-really-that-big boobs are.

"I'm a 32D, which is ridiculous for my size," she says. "I hate looking booby. You can look really cheap very quickly."

Drew Barrymore has also been vocal about the perils of being busty, and Jenna Jameson has been all over the web, flashing pictures of her ridiculously svelte post-baby body. (Something tells me the thrill of getting those gigundo implants taken out has something to do with it.)

And even reality TV stars like Patti Stanger from The Millionaire Matchmaker and Jill Zarin from The Real Housewives of New York City have recently undergone breast reduction surgery. As someone from the same camp -- I wore under-wire at age 12, for heaven's sake -- I have to wonder if I, and these other ladies, would feel this way if there were enough chic pieces to fit ample proportions. Everything I see is either skintight (read: slutty) or not body-conscious enough (translation: matronly).

"Boobs are hard to dress," says Cole.

Ain't that the truth. Designers, are you listening?
