In the past couple of weeks, both Jessica Alba and Halle Berry have spring-ified their dark 'do's with lighter highlights. So when we saw this recent photo of Kim Kardashian, we thought she was jumping on the blond bandwagon as well.
But, in her latest blog entry, Kim reveals that she punked us all. The curvy reality star writes, "It's a wig! Did I have you fooled? I did a fabulous photo shoot this weekend for Scott Barnes' book About Face. Chuckie Amos did the hair and transformed me with this blond wig and they put this hair piece on! I haven't taken it off since, because I'm really loving the look."
We love Kim's exotic beauty, and are happy to see that she's still a stunning brunette (In our opinion, there are enough cookie-cutter blonds in Hollywood). Here's hoping that Kim wasn't so wigged out by her temporary look that she decides to make it permanent.

I think it's really sad that her wig hair color keeps being referred to as blonde. It is brown. Even the lighter parts are just lighter shades of brown. There is nothing blonde about it. You would think that since it is nearly the identical color of chocolate, they wouldn't keep saying blonde.

Why does the wig have dark roots?

In that photo of Kim K, she's probably wearing a half wig, where the front of your hair is showing.

Actually that is a wig. It's a lace front with an undetectable hairline. I heard Kim talking about it on E. She loved the wig so much that she is considering dying her real hair the same "caramel" color. That's why her roots are dark.....lace fronts can be custom made, therfore the wigs are more natural looking. You can choose the thinkness, and you can choose to have bleached roots (so that the roots appear freshly dyed) or, you can choose not to have bleached roots. Kim chose no to bleach hers.By the way Kimber I checked our agirlsbestfriend wigs, Cute wigs. Do they come in Blonde colors.
