Thanks to the lousy economy and your maxed out credit cards, a pricey vacation is out of the question. But that doesn't mean you can't get away. All you need are the right bath, beauty and body products and you'll be en route to some much needed R&R (without ever leaving the house).

Certain scents can transport you from your boring bathroom to anywhere from a lush tropical island to the bustling streets of the concrete jungle -- your call. So pick your dream destination and prepare for takeoff!

  • Caribbean - Set aside half an hour and let your mind head to the laid-back Caribbean with the help of Molton Brown Unwind - atoll crystal bath soak, $35. Caribbean sea salts, sapphire extract, and gardenia flower extract are just a few of the ingredients that will have your troubles floating away in no time. (A fruity frozen drink probably wouldn't hurt either.)

  • The French Country - A trip to Provence probably isn't an option, but you can trick your senses into thinking you've arrived in the French countryside with de-luxe SaVON French Milled Lavender Bar Soap. At $3 for two bars, you may be making frequent trips back.

  • Morocco - If you haven't tried Moroccanoil hair products before, there's no time like the present to start! The heady fragrance of all the products will make you forget your daily troubles. The traditional Moroccanoil is $39 at select salons (don't go for an imitation -- trust us, it's exclusive for a reason). Find a salon near you here. If you aren't sold on the original Moroccanoil for your hair, we're positive one of the other amazing products will be a fit for your 'do (we dig the Gold Glimmer Shine!).
  • Tahiti - Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Bath and Shower Cream, $35, not only has an intoxicating and exotic scent, but offers a truly spa-like experience. The rich cream can be used as both a shower and shaving cream. Finish off the experience with the coordinating Moisture Melt, $48.

  • China/Japan - Head to the Far East with Memoire Liquide Bespoke Perfumery's De La Chine ¼ Oz Perfume Essence, $45. This particular scent features Asian lily, muguet, oriental hyacinth and night blooming jasmine in a base of airy musk decoratively packaged with a convenient roll-on vial, but Memoire Liquide has 150 scents that can be worn alone or blended for a truly custom scent. So you can really be taken wherever you desire.

  • India - Heal yourself from the inside out with the scent of an Altru Wellness Candle, $55. Whether you use it during a bath, meditation, or just to mask the curry smell from your "when in Rome" dinner, you'll feel transported.

  • New York City - Bond No. 9 New York offers quintessential NYC unisex fragrances in a variety of mediums (perfume, candles, etc.). Choose your favorite neighborhood to find out which scent is right for you.
