    Olive Oil Cures All
"Olive oil boosts shine and adds moisture to all hair types," says Mario Russo, owner of Boston's Salon Mario Russo. Look for a shampoo that contains olive oil for a gentle cleansing that leaves hair luminous.

    Get Glossed
A clear gloss treatment seals the hair's cuticle for incredible shine, says Rita Hazan, New York celebrity colorist and salon owner. Get it done at your salon, or try a home version.

    Shine Spray
"Look for a glossing cream or serum with shine-boosting panthenol or provitamin B5. Massage a tiny bit through towel-dried hair, then style," says Barry Reitman, stylist at the Beverly Hills Kevin Josephson Salon.

Citre Shine Shine Anti-Frizz Serum, $6.89.

    Shampoo Less
"I recommend shampooing only a few times a week, but conditioning every time you wash your hair," says John Barrett, New York celebrity stylist and salon owner.

    A Better Blow-Dry
Direct the airflow from your dryer down the hair shaft so that the cuticle layers aren't ruffled -- a smooth surface reflects more light, says Jason Schwind, Creative Director for Graham Webb and stylist At Denver's Vain Salon.

    Deep Treat
To keep hair in top shape, deep condition once a week. "You need to moisturize the inner cortex of your hair and rehabilitate it from being damaged," says Christo, owner of New York's Curlisto Salon.

    Curlisto Deep Therapy Masque, $32.

    Iron In the Shine
"Choose a flat iron with ceramic plates, which helps close the cuticle to add beautiful shine during styling," says Pam Kelly, Michigan's National Director of Technical Services for Fantastic Sam's Salons.

    Condition Like Crazy
Frizz-prone curly hair types can often look dull and lifeless and need an extra boost. A rich treatment with an oil-based product (think palm, jojoba) will give hair a glossy sheen, says UK celeb stylist Tara Smith.

    Ojon Restorative Treatment, $21-55.

    Finish with Shine Spray
"Think of hair cuticles like scales on a fish – if they're raised, your hair appears dull. If they're flat and smooth, your hair looks shiny and glossy," says Will Bostock, owner of Philadelphia's Blue Hair Studio. Use a dry shine spray for the ultimate finishing touch.
