Did Victoria Beckham know that stepping out with very perky (and very visible) nipples would spark a plastic surgery frenzy?

It's not entirely her doing, but Daily Mail reports that London's Harley Medical Group found, over the past year, nipple surgeries rose 30 percent. That's some serious growth!

Prosthetic nipple sales (like those worn by Samantha in "Sex in the City") have seen an increase as well.

Harley Medical Group's Dr. Riccardo Frati thinks that celebrities are the reason women are so much more interested in the appearance of their nipples as of late.

"Until now celebrities didn't expose their nipples so there were no 'nipple role models,'" he told Daily Mail. The plastic surgeon thinks Beckham's nipples could be the next big thing.

Hey, between Posh, Britney and Christina Ricci, we've got plenty of celebrity inspiration! And as they say, "three's a trend." So, don't expect the it's-a-little-nippy-in-here look to be going away any time soon.

So, let's just say you were "getting your nips done," what does that even entail? Actually, there are plenty of choices. You could opt for a nipple lift, which pushes them up and out, or have inverted nipples corrected. Additionally, if you're unhappy with their color, you can have them tattooed (ouch!).
