Michelle Obama and Daughter Sasha in Matching Outfits

The entire Obama family was out at the United We Serve event at Fort McNair in Washington DC yesterday morning (June 25).

Barack looked on in admiration as Michelle Obama -- wearing a Lanvin blouse (that she previously wore in the White House garden), yellow cardigan, teal capris and Puma sneakers -- opened up the do-good event by speaking to those gathered to participate in the cause.

Malia and Sasha were there, too -- Sasha in a nearly identical outfit to mom's! She wore a printed yellow tee and teal capris with sneakers.

The color-coordinated mother-daugther duo, along with Malia and President Obama helped fill the 15,000 backpacks with books, snacks and toys for children of military servicemen and women. It doesn't get any better than stylish, personal service for those in need.

There is nothing humble or more generous about trying to look "poor", while you serve those in need or who may be poor. Being charitable is sincere action, not image. Grow up and go do something! That thinking can get us all in trouble. Glad this event went well, and the First Lady and daughter were helpful.

Would your negative comments be the same for Sarah Palin if she were dressed the same and serving moose stew to the citizens of Alaska? I think not. She would probably be heralded as an angle of mercy, a good, God fearing "white" Christian woman that leads by example. Shame on you hypocrites.

I didnt know that wearing the same colors meant matching outfits. Mrs Obama looks like she has on denim crops and daugher has on different fabric. I guess it doesnt take much too excite some

Also, they would say that Michelle is "pimping" the girls by having them out in public.
The difference is like night and day....Michelle was right when she said "this country is mean!" She meant the media, no doubt. Only it isn't mean to her or her daughters. I think Michelle should speak out about the vicious way Sarah Palin and especially her family is treated. As a mother and a woman, it is an insult to every one of us..including the 1st family.

You are so off base! All Presidents are paid a salary of $400,000 per year. Out of this, they have to pay the White House staff, schooling for the girls, food, clothing, transporation, entertainment, utilities...

Why does everyone think there is a walk-in vault of tax dollars that he can spend personally whenever he wants. It doesn't work that way and it never has...
