Madonna Shows Her Softer Side in Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter Ad Campaign

We've been going out of our minds waiting to get our hands on them.
Creative director Marc Jacobs once again chose Madonna as the face of the french label -- the Material Girl showed off her flexibility in LV's spring/summer campaign, which had a hard, sexually-charged vibe.
This time around, though, the series of images, has a lush, even romantic feel.
Jacobs went with an old Hollywood direction for the campaign, with a Man Ray influence.
MJ and Madonna reunited with photographer Steven Meisel, who shot the previous campaign (and the provocative Calvin Klein billboard).
"After the fun we had with the spring/summer campaign, and the amazing reaction to it, all of us – Madonna, Steven and myself – were eager to get back together for fall/winter," Jacobs explains.
The campaign breaks in August.

Marc Jacobs sought a softer, more intimate quality than last season's campaign.

Photographer Steven Meisel used a technique called "solarization," favored by the legendary Man Ray, to achieve a techno-rainbow exposure.

Marc Jacobs says there is a unity to the campaigns "it feels like we have completed both parts of the story." (Referring to Madonna's last turn as the face of Louis Vuitton.)

It is hard to believe that we are already seeing fall and winter ad campaigns! In this case, I definitely don't mind! Madonna looks amazing in these photos and I love all of the deep, rich colors. Thanks for the preview!!

I have never been a morning person. That does not work out too well when you have to get 3 kids ready for school in the morning. I have been a regular user of multi-vitamin packs and energy drinks for some time now. I really hated the "burn out" from the drinks and taking the vitamins alone really did not do much for me. I started taking Resveratrol Pills http://cli.gs/EternalRezv and I now love getting up in the morning and have the extra energy to exercise while the kids are in school. So I am a "skinnier" morning person too. I am so glad I found this ultimate supplement: http://cli.gs/EternalRezv

Madonna's plastic surgeries did her a wealth of good. She looks younger than her teenaged daughter now. Vain jerk.

Wonderful work from Madonna to the photographer. Madonna's 27 now, right? heh. Looks great! Nice threads too, not for me though... Better pictures than her Gucci series from years past.

This is soft?? More like soft focus. Or rather they used the infamous Liquefy tool in Photoshop...

Geezz! They made that old scrawny scarecrow look like a 25 year old hottie. They could have used me for the model and saved a bunch of money. Just photoshop me to look like Megan Fox. From Chuck, age 55, male.

Madonna will probably always be beautiful no matter what she's wearing.

I can only wonder why so many of you sit back and say that Madonna is beautiful. Even when she was young, she wasn't that much to look at and now, she's fugly. The only thing that makes her even slightly presentable in these shots is the massive amount of photoshopping that must have been done. The artist working the program probably got carpal tunnel on her alone!

WOW! Can we say photo shopped??? There's no way this old hag can ever look this good again, naturally anyway.

I wouldn't waste money on a designer bag no matter which "old bag" they had advertising it.

I think she kinda has to grow up. She has children. I think it'd be pretty hard to have a mother like her.

hey guys give her a break...yeah, she's rich and sometimes not always the nicest...but she looks FANTASTIC, photoshopping and all...we should all be able to pull this one off. And I am sorry to say most of you out there CANNOT!
BY THE WAY, I AM AN ART DIRECTOR. I HAVE WORKED WITH EVERY AGE GROUP IN FASHION, PRIMARILY THE 18 YEAR OLD GROUP.....AND YOU SHOULD SEE THEM WITH OUT MAKEUP....AND YES! THEY DO GET PHOTOSHOPPED AND THE TOOL "LIQUIFY" IS USED ON EVERYONE!

IF I WERE TO TAKE SOME PICTURES, I WOULD NOT MIND A LITTLE PHOTOSHOPPING DONE, BUT NOT TO THE POINT WHERE I LOOK TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE WAY I LOOK IN PERSON. ADMIT IT THOUGH, MADONNA DOES LOOK GREAT IN THOSE PHOTOS.
