Marion Cotillard - Captivating with carefree curls, or sexier with sleek and straight hair? Photos: Kevin Winter, Getty Images | Jon Furniss, WireImage
Marion Cotillard became famous for her chameleon-like turn as Edith Piaf in "
La Vie en Rose," but the actress makes a hobby out of transforming her own image off-camera, too. Especially with her various hairstyles.
Most often seen wearing her hair in beautiful, ribbon-like curls, Cotillard stepped out at the London premiere for
"Public Enemies" last night (June 29) with poker-straight hair, the top half styled into a formidable pompadour. (There was a slight mullet thing going on as well -- a hair stunt only a
Dior muse/Oscar-winning actress could pull off.)
Cotillard's so gorgeous, she could make a buzz cut look chic, but there is something about her curly hair that just makes her seem that much more glamorous and mysterious (to me, anyway).

I had been overweight for the past five years. I had tried almost everything in the market, right from taking diet pills to enrolling in a gym but nothing really worked. Yes I did lose a few pounds but nothing substantial. It was then that a friend recommended Acai Nutraburst ( http://tr.im/AcaiNutraburst ) to me. I have been using the product for about a month now and have slimmed down considerably. I have actually started to wear all those dresses that I had put off for so long. The product is definitely one of the best weight loss products in the market today. I have already finished two bottles of Acai Nutraburst and am on my third bottle now. It totally changed my life! Not only did I lose a lot of weight quickly, I have also never felt more energetic and so full of life!

She's a French actress who won an American Oscar for "La Vie en Rose." You might know her from "Love Me If You Dare," "Big Fish," and whatever Russell Crowe movie was the male menopause equivalent of Diane Lane's "Under the Tuscan Sun."

Marion Cotillard is an AMAZING talented actress and already an OSCAR winner. She also has an amazing voice. People who say, "Who the heck is she, might want to google her name before just ripping her as a nobody.

Jenna, Dee and Sylvanicara are true examples as why this country is so behind culturally when it comes to movies.
They must love "American Pie", "Transformers" and everything CGId.
Wanna see the movie she won the Oscar for? It is called "La Vie en Rose", a bio about the great Edith Piaf (Edith who?, they may ask). It is one of the best movies to reach these shores from the other side of the pond.
C'mon, learn how to read and enjoy some subtitles, please!

not knowing an actress could also mean your too busy with your life then to be sitting in front of a screen ..
I have no idea who she is nor have I seen the other movies you listed ..By the time I go to work ,take the kids out to play or the library for our out time ,make supper try to get everyone washed up and ready for bed come on here to catch up a little with people and things i'm just too tired ..
So forgive me for being one of the reasons this country is behind culturally ..

I wouldn't be too hard on people who haven't heard of her. I doubt "La Vie en Rose" screened much outside of NYC and LA

Some defensive Marion Cottilard fans here. Truly, Yeminmoshe, it's not for lack of culture that we don't know who this woman is and what her hair's about. In the grand scheme of things she didn't cure polio, march in defiance of social injustice or even invent the moonwalk. She's an actress and has been an actress for, like, fifteen minutes.

I think that this new style with the "bump on the head look" is ugly. Looks like you have the start of a growth.

I got to a movie to WATCH it, not READ it. If I wanted to read a movie I would buy the book that it's based off of or has written for it. Do people really think countries where english isn't the primary language only use subtitles instead of dubing over with native speaking voices? I don't see many American movies being raved about over in Europe, just like you don't see a lot of European movies being raved about here in the States. If you go by some peoples thinking then Indea(which is the largest movie producting country in the world) is so "culturaly behind" because I don't ever hear about them going on and on about American, or European, or Asian produced films. Every region of the world produces films that are specificly targeted at THAT region, relatively few films cross these regional bounderies to get to the masses of people while more are searched out by individuals who are interested in movies from other parts of the world. The United States is no more "culturally behind" then any other nation in the world, if YOU want to see(or read) a movie from another country there are plenty of resources out there for you. As for the topic at hand, she is a beautiful woman but IMO that hair style is not flattering to her or anyone else for that matter.

Wow!
She is not only talented but she looks soooo damn fine with her hair up - very elegant and sultry.
Sleek looks best of the two pix here for me, but there are many online pix of her that are just as gorgeous.
