Back in October of last year, we predicted that Leanne Marshall would win Season 5 of "Project Runway." Now that Marshall officially won the crown, she's hit the fashion world running with a collection with Bluefly!

Marshall gives StyleList a sneak peek at the collaboration and dishes on what's in store for the up-and-coming designer. It's big time!

Formerly based in Portland, Ore., Marshall has since moved to Brooklyn, NY and scrapped her first "Leanimal" clothing label in favor of something more sophisticated.

She's currently working on her namesake line, "Leanne Marshall," and the designer has collaborated with Bluefly for a capsule collection of day dresses and casual separates ($98 - $275) and a glamorous, floor-length indigo gown ($990), show above. All the pieces debut on Bluefly's website July 8.

We stopped by Bluefly's studio during a photo shoot for the collection to get a first look at Marshall's pieces and found the designer busy multitasking -- from styling the model to shooting the pictures herself -- all with veteran ease.

Still, when we sat down to chat with the designer, we found that Leanne has kept that "aw shucks!" charm that made us root for her in the first place.

About "Project Runway," Leanne says, "It was such an emotional roller coaster! We were under such pressure and we all wanted it so bad. It was a crazy experience, but having said that, I would do it all over again."

On meeting Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum: "I remember the first day meeting them and being completely like, 'pinch me, I'm dreaming.' And I mean, to work with Tim Gunn everyday was amazing."

Regarding her designs, however, Marshall took on a more serious (and green) tone. Her capsule collection with Bluefly uses mostly organic materials.

"For me as a designer, it's almost like it's not even worth mentioning. It feels like the right thing to do as a designer to reduce my carbon footprint. And it's not about it being a marketing tool, it's more about these clothes feel really great, but, oh yeah, they also happen to go with my philosophy of being kinder to the environment as well," she explains.

This summer will find Marshall busy in her design studio. "I've been working on my Spring 2010 collection for about a month now, though I'm behind! [laughs]. I'm going to show during Fashion Week, but I'm not 100 percent sure where yet. I do have one venue in mind, but I am holding out for Bryant Park, because that would be amazing!"

But the designer keeps mum when we ask for hints on what to expect come the Spring shows in September. She laughs and says, "...it changes every day!"
