GAP (RED) and Artists Team Up for Museum-Worthy T-Shirts

Like GAP (RED)'s tees for Spring, the 30 cotton tops for Fall/Holiday were designed by an eclectic mix of 12 established and up-and-coming artists -- from poets to animators -- who were inspired by the cause.
Some of the fashion-centric talents involved include Deanne Cheuk (art director at Tokion), watercolor master Stina Persson, Parsons grad Celia Calle and James Jean (he designs the whimsical wallpaper for Prada stores).
A few of the $28 T-shirts -- we've already got our eye on this Kari Moden's colorful disco girl tee (pictured above) and a painted butterfly by James Jean -- are in stores and online now, with others trickling in closer to Fall.
Fifty percent of the gross profits from the tees will benefit the Global Fund, so go out and get yours now.! We can't wait to wear their art on our (short) sleeve.
