Sixteen-year-old Miley Cyrus graces the August cover of ELLE magazine and also poses for a sexy fashion feature inside the issue.
Cyrus has been developing quite the fashion habit: First she announced her teen clothing line for Walmart with Max Azria and now she's nabbed the cover (photographed by Carter Smith) of one of the most prestigious fashion magazines.
The starlet tells the tome about her designer collaboration: "The jeans are my favorite part of the entire [Walmart] line. Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don't have it available."
Get a sneak peek at ELLE's interview with the teen queen.

Inappropriate. Way to go, ELLE. Somewhere a teenage girl just threw up her dinner and had sex before she was really ready because of you. But hey, who needs decency and class when pedophilia sells fashion magazines?

listen i love miley and all but she is such a hypocrite!!! she acts as if she is soo innocent then posts pictures of her self like that all over the internet and some of them she takes herself!! these pictures arent that bad but if i were her parents i would not be allowing my 16 yr old daughter to pose like that…. i mean you can disagree if you want… you can vote here http://www.iheartradio.com/cc-common/news/sections/entertainmentarticle.html?feed=104650&article=5717554&cmp=sam_mileyphotos but i mean does anyone see what im seeing here!?!

Kids love to watch Miley as Hannah Montana especially the younger girls, but when she's on Elle with her chest exposed in a seductive way, I feel it inappropriate for that particular audience. It's a suggestive pose for a girl who doesn't portray that image as her character Hannah Montana. I understand she is her own person and doesnt want to be always characterized as the role she plays for TV but for the beautiful, talented singer she is. That is when she needs to decide her priorities and either tone it down for the cover shoots or change the image she portrays on her show. Every person is entitled to be who they want to be but when in the eyes of the public by choice- they should conform to what they portray.
On that note, I must say she does look great and Elle is a magazine I purchase!

as far as I know ELLE is a FASHION magazine, an important one. miley on an ELLE cover is not appropriate. you can definitly argue about beauty ( I think she is hideous) and you can argue about style ( I don´t like her style, although the dresses she wore lately were nice, they would probably better suit women in their 30ies), she did not star in any relevant movie nor did she record an outstanding song. she sells. to 8 to 12 year olds. which is not ELLE´s target group. well, as I´ve just said, she sells, and I think this is the point (obviously), but I hope that those FASHION magazines will soon learn to set priorities. because there actually is an audience that buys these magazines for the FASHION. and I think that if FASHION magazines keep neglecting these people, like me, they will think twice before spending their money on magazines featuring a disney star
