"Project Runway" Season 6 will finally debut on Lifetime August 20. And the show's new Website launched today! Photo: mylifetime.com
After moving from Bravo to Lifetime, "Project Runway's" new home was hit with a lawsuit brought on by the show's producer, The Weinstein Company. But now that they've "made it work," legally, the fashion reality series is set to return!
Along with 16 new contestants, our favorite critical crew -- including Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors -- is back.
No longer at Parsons in NYC, the show will take place at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. (The same school that Lauren Conrad attended!)
Season 6 is slated to debut on August 20 and the show's official Website launched this morning (July 9).
The new site features downloadable fashion games for your iPhone and computer, videos of the designers and judges and an online community where you can chat about the show.
This season's 16 designers are a mixed bag and include 50-year-old Rodney Epperson from New York City who designs fashion windows, accessories designer Louise Black (rocking a Louise Brooks bob) from Dallas, Texas and Logan Neitzel from Seattle, Wash. who has a huge closet any girl would envy.
The new site also gives an inside look at each contestant, including videos of their audition tapes, home visits (see Carol Hannah Whitfield's South Carolina home below) and fashion tips.
We're sew in!
