Jon Gosselin Plus Ed Hardy Equals Children's Clothing Line?

Walking Ed Hardy advertisement Jon Gosselin was spotted with new girlfriend Hailey Glassman aboard Ed Hardy bigwig Christian Audigier's private yacht in St. Tropez, France this weekend.
The two men were also photographed together several times throughout the two days.
Word is Gosselin and Audigier are in talks to launch a children's fashion line, reported E! Online. (Baby trucker hats?) But being the father of eight does not a kids clothing designer make.
All but confirming the rumors that Ed Hardy is giving Gosselin a job, Audigier told E! News, "We would like to do a line of children's clothing." (Looks like dressing in head-to-toe Ed Hardy has paid off for Gosselin.)

I'm sure a cushy job with a successful clothing company sounds like a dream to Gosselin right about now, but if there's one industry that can make changing diapers and reality TV seem benign, it's fashion.
And we all know the track record when it comes to flash-in-the-pan reality stars making it as designers. Did the crash and burn of Lauren Conrad's clothing line teach you nothing?
At least Gosselin has a built-in fan base of plus 8 and a seriously hyped TV show.

I might buy them for my twin grandchildren yes. But, they better be very cute, and affordable, for the everyday person. Now, if they put a huge price on them then NO, becuase he came from nothing and therefore I would not make them just for the rich, want to make it work Jon, make them for the everyday person, and they will probably sell.

If Christian Audigier is making a kids clothing line, you best believe the prices are going to be outrageous. I will never understand how a t-shirt is worth over a hundred bucks. There is no type of sewing or screen printing worth that much.

No place for children's clothes at all
Jon is a terrible role model for children now--
I would start a boycott if so
At least Kate works and acts appropriately w/o flaunting

I agree completly with you Josie. Jon is a millionaire thanks to his wife giving birth to eight children. It's kinda like he won the lottery, but just not overnight. Once he saw all of this getting to the point he didn't like it (as he says). He should have pulled the plug on the show. I'm not trying to judge him, because I don't know him, and am not in his shoes, but one thing is for sure. I wouldn't be globetrotting with a little trophy on my arm. The show brought a lot of us to feel like we were part of their family. I would love to see them work things out.

Yeah, I think Jon needs to grow up and stop hanging around with little girls! This absolutely screams MIDLIFE CRISIS!!! My ex did the same thing! Only he was 35 and his baby girlfriend was 19! She was closer to our kids' ages than his!

After just reading that this 'girl' is the daugher of the surgeon that did Kate's tummy surgery, I was shocked! OK Jon, how long has this been going on? 3-4 years? She was a teenage for pete's sake. What are you thinking? I would divorce your butt too!

You know what! Kate's personality is her personality! If you watch the footage from years ago, she was always bossy. If he didn't like it then he shouldn't have married her!!!! And if he didn't like anything else about the marraige then he should've sought marraige counceling!! You don't just quit a marraige and leave all of those babies with a part time daddy! WTF is wrong with you people? To think he is doing the right thing?? He is on a yaght in France with his slutty girlfriend while Kate is at home taking care of 8 kids?!?! How is this ok? I think he is well deserving of a woman, no matter the age, that treats him with respect. Kate isn't sitting home with 8 kids, she is out traveling across the US while nanny's are caring for the children. maybe Jon should have stood up to the winch and put her in her place once in awhile. If I treated my husband the way Kate treated him I would expect him to leave no matter how many children we have.
Kate was white trash looking for a way to make money and she landed it. She is no better than the octomom and anyone that endorses that sorry excuse for a mother doesn't deserve to stay in business.
Jon needs to gain custody of the kids and send the trash back to the park where it belongs.
