And no style was sacrificed due to the larger sizing, which is how it should be.
It's really is unlike anything we've seen for this neglected segment of the fashion population. And, frankly, it's about time!
Check out the pieces on the Evans Website. And for on-model images, visit Perez Hilton.
Ditto, a good friend of Kate Moss, suggested herself as a designer for a plus-sized line while hanging with Moss' Topshop bosses. (The Kate Moss for Topshop line was -- and continues to be -- a smash hit.) Clearly, they said yes.
And that's how Beth Ditto landed at UK retailer Evans (Topshop's plus-size sister store).
Prices start at about $20 for leggings and top out around $130 for a poplin parka; sizes range from 14 to 32. The line is available at Evans stores (not Stateside just yet) and online.

It's great that plus-size ladies can enjoy fashion, too. But, wouldn't it be better - and healthier - if they just stopped eating pizza, doughnuts, and high fructose corn syrup products?

WOULDN'T IT BE BETTER IF YOU STOP OPENING YOUR MOUTH AND TALK WHAT YOU KNOW!

There are some of us that DO eat healthy & DO workout are we are still plump because it's in our genes.

Its not always that people are eating too much. That just proves how ignorant people like ya'll are. There are different medical reasons why some people are over weight. Yes there might be some that only eat that stuff, but not all of them. Respect people no matter what they look like and dont always act like immature people that think all that big people do is eat.

I can tell you from experience that I am heavy not because of what I eat. I eat as healthy as my size 4 sister, yet I'm still a size 18/20. I had my son 2 1/2 years ago and my body has never been the same since pregnancy onward. It's extremely disheartening. I used to be a size 11 in juniors. I don't have a clue what to do now, I've tried nutrisyatem, it bloated me up terribly from the sodium in it. I've tried everything imaginable :( It makes me sad and depressed.
I'm very happy that this plus sized line has come out :) Even tho I'm a bigger woman, it does make me feel a lot better to be able to look nice.

I can tell you honestly the best thing you can do is journal for a week and see what you are eating. I mean everything. That crust of bread from your sons plate, the lick off the spoon etc. write it all down. You will see amazing things and I think you will see the changes that you need to make. I felt much the same way you do. But, journal my food everyday and have gone from a 18/20 to a 10 since Halloween. Keeping track has been the miracle for me. Before tracking when I thought "I was eating great" I was actually eating the calories of 2-3 days. Though it was not much food. Good luck

Evans is a UK store that caters only to plus size women, which is good, however Beth Ditto is hardly my poster child for fashion of any kind. I am plus size, but frankly, the way she looks would scare me away from anything she came up with, and I don't mean her size I am talking about her fashion sense and make up. How about some plus size clothing that is for the regular lady who just wants to look nice, not strange? Personally, I'd rather not be plus size and I am gradually losing the weight without doing anything drastic. My biggest problem is, plus size clothing is way more expensive than regular size - I get that it is bigger, but it is often twice the price of regular size clothing!

Is that Marilyn Mansens sister? She looks absolutely gross. She should keep larger womens fashion to Mo'Nique.

Although I am not necessarily a fan of her style, I am glad to see that there are people who think beyond the size 4's. I feel everybody deserves a chance, whether skinny, fat, black, white, etc. I think it is a shame that we live in a society where we are taught tolerance of others, yet we are discriminatory towards people who are not of the emaciated persuasion. We all have to live on this Earth together, so lets make it work for EVERYBODY

As for the dress shown in the picture, it should be longer, at least to her knees, rather than on the fatter part of her legs.
I don't see anything different from any off the rack dress, even from K-Mart, than her style. I can't imagine this line being successful, especially if she is the model. Tattoos? Not fashionable. Even Cher has had hers removed.

Gee, I never thought women would give in to saying FAT is OK. It is actually a sin to be obese since it takes food away from the poor and also creates diseases at an early age, putting a burden on our health system.

People's size is not always in direct relation to how much they eat. My daughter is 37 and a size 4, but, has always eaten more than I possibly could, I on the other hand am and have always been large. I think there are a lot of reasons for differring sizes, maybe God just wanted some variety, but, be that as it may, it would be His judgement not yours ! I find it is usually those who know the least who try to coment on things beyond their realm of knowledge. Since we are God's creations it would be His jobb to judge things as sin not yours ! If I were to be judgemental I might think stupidity a larger sin, but, then that isn't my job either, is it??

not to sound racist but almost all big girl clothing is marketed to black women. It's honestly annoying to go into a store like Torrid which was actually started to be a big girls Hot Topic(and is actually owned by the same company) and see nothing but Baby Phat, Dereon etc etc.... What little is not marketed to black women is marketed to dirty hippies...it's like Ummm just because I'm overweight doesn't mean I want to look like a flower child or like I belong in the ghetto.... unfortunately there is very little choice out there for plus sized women because we are the only minority that it's still cool to pick on.
