The 20-year-old Queens, N.Y. resident was arrested yesterday for his involvement in a string of armed robberies that took place in delis and gas stations around New York last month, as first reported by The New York Post.
The catwalker, along with three other men, confessed to the June spree, which involved Walter and his friends holding up clerks at 7-Elevens, bodegas, and a Dunkin' Donuts, then robbing all of the customers in the stores. Walters also allegedly pistol-whipped one of the victims.
Cops said that each member of the gang of four took home about $12,000 to $15,000 once the damage was done.
Walter and his crew were caught yesterday and charged with robbery and criminal possession of a firearm.
Oddly enough, this isn't the first time Walter -- who's appeared in ads HUGO Hugo Boss and H&M -- has been the subject of nasty headlines.
The model's relationship with his 37-year-old, former second-grade teacher, which allegedly began when Walter was only 17, caused the teacher to loose her job. The two currently live together and have a child.
