Rihanna Has a Mohawk!

Rihanna has been spotted in NYC sporting a new 'do -- a mohawk!

The mega-star is certainly no stranger to starting beauty trends; um, the asymmetric, angled bob of '07 that resulted in a firestorm of copy-cuts from coast to coast. (We're pretty sure there are still some folks out there clinging to this one.)

But a mohawk? It takes a lot of guts to buzz your hair off, so I've got to give props to someone willing to take a beauty risk, especially when so many celebrities play it safe, leaving us with nothing to gossip about.

Singer Cassie is an exception, she recently flaunted a freshly-shaved look -- one side of her head is basically bald.

I really doubt mohawks will catch on as a national trend, and maybe that's why Rihanna did it. I'd get pretty sick of everyone copying my hair, too!

Mohawks are fierce. Love them. Glad someone ain't afriad to chop it off. Some people cling on to it like it's life support. It's just hair, and a short do never hurt anyone.

Wow.. it is amazing how critical people are about people. Reading all the statements... it is really depression how this world will call out people and cut them down to nothing..... It is so sad. What shallow, shallow people... She is a beautiful woman...... she may not be the best looking woman in the word but she is a beautiful person. you people are heartless.

and Joe willie...... no one ever deserves to get smacked or hit.. it is ignorant people that would ever think that.

This proves, at least to me, that Rihanna's music is worthless. The headline is NOT, "Rihanna's new album rocks" or "With a voice like Rihanna's, looks are just the encore". No the best thing this woman has to offer is a new hair style.

Maybe if you spelt lesbian correctly your post would have some substance. Wait, no it wouldn't. It sickens me how easy it is to be judgmental. You should probably take a step back and worry about yourself for a minute. And if she happened to like girls, you should consider a sex change because otherwise you'd never have a chance.
