While we hung out backstage at Miami Fashion Week, we took a minute to talk hair with Marcus Caillet, Lead Stylist for Miami Fashion Week and Creative Stylist for RUSK.

StyleList: Any tips for styling hair in this humidity? What products are you using?

Caillet: We have two products that are out. One's called Priming Creme, and the other's called Gleam. Priming Creme is gonna soften that cuticle down, but maintain the moisture balance.

Gleam is an anti-humectant -- it's gonna stop hair from frizzing. It has a UV-inhibitor to protect hair from sun damage. Ninety percent of the models were finished with Gleam.

StyleList: UV rays can definitely dry out hair, not to mention fade color. Do you have any tips for sun worshippers?

Caillet: If you're gonna be out in the sun, put a Keratin treatment on -- the sun helps intensify the treatment. Hair is made up of Keratin, so it's going to give us that shine that we're looking for, sealing the hair down, and sun damage won't happen.
