Jennifer Lopez Wears Sweats While Shopping in Rome. Too Casual?

When Lopez, hubby Marc Anthony and their twins Emme and Maximilian touched down in Italy via private plane, the star was all glam in a tiered sundress and coordinating croc Birkin bag. She accessorized with a ton of luggage, of course!
But the actress-singer-designer did a complete fashion 180 when she hit the town in, of all things, (gasp!) sweats.
For a shopping trip with hubby Anthony on Rome's famous Via Dei Condotti, she traded her usual diva-worthy designer duds for a full-on frump fest: a disheveled white tee, baggy black sweatpants and gray sneakers. She topped off her look with a baseball cap.
While we're all for relaxing on vacation, J.Lo's gym style is a bit too casual for a woman famous for her Versace and who -- maybe not by choice, but by circumstance -- is representing the U.S., whether she likes it or not.
Plus, it wasn't like she was going the incognito route: Lopez was surrounded by bodyguards and even stopped to sign autographs.

I don't care who she is. She's on VACATION. She can dress however she wants to.

seriously. dressing up all the time isn't fun for everyone. give the girl a break. she's earned her right to dress however she wants to on VACATION. not all of us wanna be diva 24-7 even if that's what we're known for. believe me, we have terrible people representing the US abroad. US tourists are the absolute worst, in my opinion.

Theselook like playclothes and she should be dressed up because she is in a city that is nice and has been wonderful to her. WhenI wear clothes like that I m taking a walk and am trying to shape up. And I don't want people looking at me like they recognize me. She is not a smart woman just a smart aleck who wants toturn thingsaround on people who think she is beautiful and only dresses up to show her friends how great she looks. That's a pig.

Like it or not, dressing casually in Rome is not acceptable, not matter who you are! I don't think that it has anything to do with her being a celebrity. It is more about the fact that Italians are known for preferring people in Rome, and especially in Vatican City, to be well dressed and appropriate! With a wardrobe like JLo's, that shouldn't be hard!
