It's on!

Since Victoria Beckham started taking acting lessons to land a cameo in the upcoming "Sex and the City" sequel, the rumor mills have continued to swirl on who is set to star alongside Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda.

But now it looks like Katie Holmes has trumped her BFF's acting aspirations and secured a role in SATC 2!

Holmes has been approached to play "'a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha," reports Grazia. (Can you say couture catfight?)

While we'd be psyched to see Holmes strut her stuff in power suits (we predict Giorgio Armani), could a real-life catfight be in store for Holmes and Beckham?

Ever since the starlets met (through Tom Cruise), Posh has helped groom "Joey Potter" into a full-fledged fashionista. From Holmes' copycat angled bob to front-row seats at the couture shows to Beckham actually styling the actress for a Harper's Bazaar photo shoot.

No word yet on whether Mrs.Tom Cruise will accept the offer, and since the sequel is still in pre-production, only time will tell!
