She is the latest star tapped to front the beauty brand, following in the footsteps of stars like Rihanna, Drew Barrymore, Queen Latifah and Ellen DeGeneres.
The 29-year-old Dominican beauty -- whose favorite CG product is Outlast Lipstain -- will appear in print and TV ads starting in January.

I have seen thousands of heavy, homely girls that use Covergirl products with incredible INNER beauty and passion for thier families,community and work, but I don't see the company rushing to make them their new spokesperson!

This woman, just like Sammy and Miguel are the classic examples of black latinos. I understand that she is not african-american, fine, but she is black, she is of african descent.
