YSL just launched an official Facebook page, which will feature runway photos, ad campaign images, pictures of celebrities donning the designer's wears and the luxury label's own short films.
With 4,137 fans already, it looks like people were waiting with bated breath for the fashion house's arrival. (We were.)
And to ensure you're one in-the-know fashionista, the couture company is now updating fans via Twitter.
Follow and you'ill receive insider info, um, fashion week is just around the corner! And, perhaps, even fashion tips from YSL designer Stefano Pilati...Hey, a girl can dream.
Clearly, not one to just dip its caged toe in the (virtual) water, YSL is also creating a site dedicated to the Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto. Now on its fifth edition, Manifesto publishes the brand's arty fashion images.
The latest issue was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh and features Christy Turlington modeling the Fall '09 collection.
While the print edition of the Manifesto will be handed out in Paris, New York, Milan, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul on Sept. 12, you can get a sneak peek on the Manifesto site when it goes live Sept. 1.
Plus, watch for a behind-the-scenes video to be released September 8 on the Website.
Luxury never felt this attainable.
