A very preggers Richie attended the party in her own designs: She paired a cream and black floral print silk top by "Nicole" for A Pea in the Pod with a simple, yet short and stylish black dress.
If the sophisticated and chic look was any indication of the exclusive maternity collaboration, then it looks like Richie is once again proving her talents as a designer -- House of Harlow 1960, anyone?
On her collection that is now available online, Richie says, "I hope that the ease and comfort of my designs will help expectant moms to look and feel amazing throughout their pregnancy."
And with it being LA and all, the launch party had stars aplenty: Maria Menounos and Ali Landry stopped by, as did several pregnant actresses, including Jaime Bergman, Tisha Campbell Martin and Nicole Sullivan.
With droves of Victoria Secret models jumping on the baby-on-board train and Cynthia Rowley announcing a kiddie line with Babies"R"Us, it looks like a newborn is fall's chicest accessory. "It" bag? Try "diaper" bag!

Allen recently told Britian's More magazine that she doesn't feel comfortable modeling. "It's not something that comes naturally to me, especially when I'm working with fashion photographers because they're used to working with really tall, skinny and beautiful models and I'm very aware that I'm 5'2" and a size 12." Not comfortable? Could have fooled us.

Nicole Richie really has done a 180 since having her first baby and being in a solid relationship. She is so cute, and I hope the designing really takes off for her. Best thing she ever did was cut Paris Hilton loose.

All of a sudden EVERYONE is a "designer"??
I had to pay to go to design school for 4 yrs. to even qualify!
Guess we can invent anything we want to for the sake of $$$
Hope it works for me.

If I were married and pregnant I would boycot Pea in a Pod because it is promoting the idea that having babies out of wedlock is glamorous - it isn't - most of the irresponsible immoral idiots who do this do it on purpose to get government assistance. I resent my taxes being used to reward irresponsible immoral behavior. Draining the Gross National Product hurts America's economy - assistance needs to change - the government should supply free birth control to anyone over 18 years of age with proof of legal residency or citizenship and if you get pregnant - YOU GET NOTHING. I guarentee making babies out of wedlock would become OUT OF VOGUE
