After putting out a Fall '09 lookbook featuring Fashion Toast blogger Rumi Neely, Erin Wasson x RVCA just announced that the line is holding its first runway presentation during this coming New York Fashion Week.
And don't expect Wasson's debut to be a small-time event. The fashion show will take place at the big tents -- as in the white-tops at Bryant Park, NYC -- in a prime slot: Friday, Sept. 11 at 8pm ET.
While Wasson will log more hours behind-the-scenes this time around at the Maybelline-sponsored Bryant Park shows, her cool-kid fashion friends, including Alexander Wang and Proenza Schouler, will be showing at Milk Studios (sponsored by MAC) where the shows are being held gratis.
Let the fashion games begin!

I hope this letter reaches you in good health. It is with much enthusiasm
that I wish to request you to be one of our guest of honor at Fashion for
Autism: Raising Awareness “Be Significant” which will be presented during
Edwing D’Angelo’s NYC Fashion
Week La Vie En Rose Spring 2010 collection on September 10, 2009. See
attached presentation deck. We believe your image and presence at this
event will assist in generating awareness through the media platform for
this children cause event.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASP) is one in a group of series of
developmental problems that appear in early years of childhood, usually
before age 3. Although symptoms and severity vary, all autism disorders
affect a child’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Families
of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis may feel
hopeless and trapped and need to be aware that there are competent
services in their communities that can educate and assist in creating an
atmosphere that will create a higher quality of live for their
child/children.
The program for that day will include the following. We are having a red
carpet with celebrities and VIP who care for this cause. Followed by a
reception with an educational fashion-forward short presentation on
Autism, The premiere of La Vie En Rose Edwing D’ Angelo’s Spring 2010
collection, with a few cele models, all getting there hair styles Michelle
Obamas own Johnny Wright, and concluding with a VIP After-party.
