With the aroma of gourmet chocolate wafting through the rooms of her Upper East Side, New York City apartment, home fragrance entrepreneur Laura Slatkin and famous chocolatier Godiva announced their new partnership and the development of Godiva's Home Fragrance Collection.

The decorative confections, packaged in sleek glass tumblers and travel-friendly tins, come in five sumptuous "flavors": Milk Chocolate Truffle (above left), Raspberry Ganache (above right), Black Almond Truffle, White Chocolate Magnolia and Peppermint Bark.

Slatkin keenly pointed out that Godiva is an iconic company people turn to when shopping for presents, thus making the new candle collection a natural fit for both brands.

"Godiva is the ultimate in gift-giving," she said. "When Harry [Laura's husband, Harry Slatkin] and I have parties, someone always walks in with a gold Godiva box."

With the price of luxury candles hovering somewhere in the $70+ range, Godiva's new candles are refreshingly priced at just $22.50.

Look for the new Godiva Home Fragrance Collection this October (you can start your holiday shopping early!) at Belk, Dillard's, Neiman Marcus, and select Godiva stores nationwide.
