Judging The New 'Project Runway' Contestants - Part One
Filed under: News
If you're sitting comfortably, we can begin with part one of the appraisals. Part two will be Monday.
Althea Harper, 24, OH: We don't really get a sense of what she's like as a designer, but the turquoise one-shoulder number she's wearing at the end is cause for concern. Also, who's her hair colorist, Benjamin Moore?
Ari Fish, 26, MO: Her I like immediately, even if a jacket that's both sleeveless and waterproof doesn't make a lot of sense to me. (I guess it's for people with great arms that look good wet?) But I have an official Rachel Maddow Crush© on her already.
Carol Hannah Witfield, 24, SC: Seems sweet enough, but girls like this are never tough enough to survive the competition. Something tells me her future is in bridal and prom dresses.
Christopher Straub, 30, MN: Something about the heavy window treatments and faux-baronial tapestry in the living room doesn't match up with the crazy metallic animal prints he's sewing in the downstairs in his basement workshop. Who are his clients supposed to be, Elizabethan strippers?
Epperson, 50, NY: You have to love a 50-year-old father of three young kids pursuing his dream. Even if nice guys like him usually don't provide the histrionics that make for great reality TV.
Gordana Gelhausen, 45, SC: Comes across a bit like a cross between the 50-Foot-Woman and Ana, the waitress who Bill almost married on the last season of "Big Love." Let's hope she's less committed to brown in her fashion than she is in her home decor.
Irina Shabayeva, 27, NY: She has a miniature poodle called Princess. Next!
Johnny Sakalis, 30, CA: Bad Gay Art on the wall, stuffed Simpsons dolls in the bedroom, cliched hipster sleeve tattoo and he refers to the viewer in the second person as "America." Oy.
Check back on Monday for the second half of the contestants!
And, because you know you can't wait, head on over to AOL Television to see what Heidi Klum has to say about Season 6.

There is an amazing new weight loss system that really works AcaiSlim ( http://bestslimacai.info/ ) unlike many of the scam Acai diet products this one is packed with real ingredients that will help you lose weight. They not only gave me a free sample but they also have a 60 money back guarantee so I didn't have to worry about having to pay for anything that didn't work. I'm not going to tell you that it is a miracle worker but with moderate exercise I have been losing about 6 pounds a month. Be aware of some of the real scam products that promise you that you will lose more than 2 pounds a week because that isn't going to happen. I couldn't be happier with the results I've been getting and hope you will have the same results if you try it

Working as an esthetician I always get people asking what they can do about their wrinkles and cellulite. For wrinkles I tell them about ResV Derm http://TrulyFlawlessSkin.com and how it is an incredible anti-aging, anti-wrinkle cream that contains the most potent, doctor grade, wrinkle erasing ingredients that tone and tighten the skin for a smoother, younger face. It's much better, safer, and less expensive than Botox. They always come back to tell me how great it is and how much younger they look. It’s a great product and I back it up 100%. http://TrulyFlawlessSkin.com
For cellulite problems I always recommend http://cli.gs/CelluliteSolutions a cellulite toning system that is clinically proven to smooth cellulite and firm in as little as 72 hours.
