Colombian bombshell Shakira is taking a cue from Beyoncé (her one-time "Beautiful Liar" collaborator) and keeping the '80's-tastic bodysuit trend alive with her new single "She Wolf" off the sexy singer's upcoming album of the same name.

On the cover of the recently released single, Shakira dons a nude swimsuit-cum-bodysuit with a plunging neckline by Jean Paul Gaultier, while contorting herself in a metal cage.

She wears the same suit in the "She Wolf" video, in which she also dances around seductively in a one-legged leotard with side cut-out (and howls at nothing in particular).

Star stylist Andrea Lieberman and Jocelyn Goldstein dressed the star, looking beyond the current season's trends and instead digging up the swimsuit from Gaultier's Spring 2004 collection -- it was even featured on model Amber Valletta in Vogue's November 2003 issue .

With Shakira's album dropping October 5, we'll have our eye on her next video and publicity tour getups to see if the quasi-retro Jane Fonda look continues.
