She may have a bevy of fashionable fans -- including the cast of "Gossip Girl" -- but over the last couple of years, Nanette Lepore has struggled to get her shoe line off the ground while keeping it in-house.

So, the designer has now decided to outsource the production to the Peter Marcus Group for her next footwear venture.

And from the early looks of things, the business move has turned out amazingly well (see sketch, right).

Set to hit stores in February 2010, the revamped line will debut with 25 styles: wedges, flats and pumps featuring stacked heels, wood soles and leather covered heels.

Staying true to her fashion aesthetic, Lepore created shoes to satisfy her girlie girl customer, using floral prints, metallic snakeskin, signature beading and striped patent.

Better yet, they'll all coordinate with her Spring 2010 apparel collection.

Ranging from $195 - $350, the footwear will be carried at Nanette Lepore boutiques, as well as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and other specialty retailers.
