Yep, suddenly, it seems everywhere we travel, the world is getting on board with stewardess style.
There was that drama over at Delta, where the airline's Richard Tyler-designed red wrap dresses were only made up to a size 18. Then, Kate Moss partied with Sir Richard Branson to celebrate Virgin Atlantic's 25th anniversary. And we're seriously hoping Shelly the stewardess makes a "Mad Men" return soon.
The latest? Today marks the 90th anniversary of British Airways, and to celebrate, the company is toasting nearly a century of fabulous flight attendant uniforms -- with memorabilia on display all month in the British Airways arrivals lounge (Terminal 5) at London's Heathrow Airport.
To add a little sparkle, Swarovski has loaned a giant bejewelled Union Jack as part of the display.
Will this trend takeoff or do you see a landing pattern in the near future? Leave a comment!
