Victoria's Secret Model Miranda Kerr Goes Blonde, Launches Fragrance
Filed under: Fragrance, Cuts & Style, Beauty, Hair, Hair Color
Victoria's Secret spokesmodel Miranda Kerr revealed her newly lightened locks at last night's launch party for The Dream Angels Heavenly Enchanted Collection at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Kerr's hair color falls smack into the category of "blonded-brunette," one of my new favorite terms, recently coined by the gals over at DailyMakeover.com (thanks ladies!)
While Kerr looks absolutely gorgeous in her new locks (I mean, how could she not?), being a brunette myself I'm always a tad miffed when stars trade their dark locks for blonder pastures (see more offenders here). I've got nothing against light hair, but when you're already famous it just seems so...Hollywood.
But I digress. Back to the beauty news.
Victoria's Secret's new Heavenly Enchanted juice is a richer, more sensual version of their existing Heavenly fragrance. An Oriental-woody with top notes of sparkling raspberry and bergamot, a middle of peach nectar and jasmine, and a dry down of coconut milk and amber, the fragrance comes in a EDP, a sheer fragrance mist and a body cream. It's a limited edition, and is available in stores and online starting today.

Britney's Back in Blonde
Just days after Lindsay Lohan scored her long blonde extensions, Britney followed suit in August 2009. Reports have even said that Lohan stopped by the Andy LeCompte Salon in LA while Brit was getting bleached. Perhaps the two stars were going for the same look?

Lindsay Lohan's Blonde Extensions
LiLo looked unsure of her new blonde 'do on July 29th. We have to admit, the excessive extensions and banana-yellow color don't do her justice, especially compared to her gorgeous natural hue!

Drew Barrymore's locks have vacillated between shades of honey, caramel, and sunny blond, but this is the first time we're seeing her with an all-out platinum 'do. Her hair looks full and funky swept up in a punky updo, which is a huge tress trend for spring.

If you're unemployed, underemployed or feel that you're underpaid, guess what? the job market is never going to be the same. If you don't adjust and learn new skills how are you going to support your family? You're not going to get hired for a high paying job with yesterday's skills. That was the situation I was in when I lost me job last August and couldn't find a decent job. It was terrible not being able to buy all the things we needed. The worst thing was having to make up excuses to tell my kids because I couldn't buy them the things their friends had. I kept looking and looking for a way out of my financial mess when a friend told me that he was making serious money, working at home, with a multiple income system developed by Robert Allen ( http://www.robertallenmultiplestreamsofincome.com ). I had read a number of his books and I always respected him as a money making master. I tried it and it was a life changer for me. Within a few months I was making more money than I ever did before and had much more free time too. No more cheap cuts of meat and not being able to buy what we want. His program is so simple that anyone with reasonable intelligence should be able to follow it and create a huge income for themselves and their family. Of course you could just sit around and wait for someone to hire you for a job you only think still is out there for you.

So many times we see websites or get information via email with offers about making money. They always seem too good to be true. I just wanted to let you guys know that I don't regret making the small investment that has allowed so many other doors to open for me. Before I signed up with 123cashsurveys ( http://cli.gs/123surveys ) I felt like my life was so routine - but now it's filled with so many interesting, fun and financially rewarding things to do. I mean, who would have thought you could get paid to give your opinion. WOW!! I do have one regret ... that I didn't find http://cli.gs/123surveys earlier.

I am truly a believer in Nature's Cleanse http://tr.im/NatureCleanse I started taking it mid-April and on the 5th of May I had lost almost 10lbs. Now, I had been watching my diet and exercising, but the immediate difference from Nature's Cleanse was obvious. One of my problem areas is my belly, I was always bloated, feeling like I was about 9 months pregnant and honestly, I looked it too! After starting with the cleanse, my bloating went down in a week. I knew that I needed to cleanse, but this just reassured me that not only I needed to do so but I needed to do so more often. Nature's Cleanse http://tr.im/NatureCleanse also helped me to feel more satisfied and my skin was looking better - what an awesome way to feel!

I have beautiful dark brown hair that is getting more and more gray; so I went lighter for a while. Much to my surprise I also got more attention. I colored it back to it's natural color even though it's getting harder to cover that gray. I have a friend ten years older who is blonde and she just married an elder gentleman who has taken her in six month on two cruises, on trip and bought her a new Lexis. There's no doubt that this male dominated society's thinking is steered towards going for blonde women. Just look at most of the rich and famous men and their wives or girlfriends most of them are blonde. Not all of us look good with blonde, and it all seems very sexist of the men to take this view point.

I'm not trying to be snarky(really), but a model changed her hair color. Why is this news?
