Lovers of the film noir genre and sultry old Hollywood beauty are in luck this fall.

First came Dior's Hitchcock-esque short film "The Lady Noire Affair" and now Sephora is getting into the femme fatale spirit with their short film "Cherchez La Femme."

The cheeky film follows a detective trying to solve a "crime against beauty" -- the theft of the entire Fall 2009 makeup collection. The only clue? A ransom note perfumed with the villain's sexy signature scent.

To coincide with the film, Sephora's Film Noir Fall Collection features glamorous must-haves like red lipstick, feathery false eyelashes, liquid eyeliner and lacy cosmetic bags.
