Looks like the Bravo holiday party is going to be a little awkward this year.
Not content to butt heads with fellow "Real Housewives of New York City" castmate Kelly Bensimon, Bethenny Frankel has set her sights on a new target: fellow Bravo reality-bot and star stylist Rachel Zoe of "The Rachel Zoe Project," reports the New York Daily News's Gatecrasher column.
According to the paper, Frankel posted a Zoe rant on Twitter Monday night after watching an episode of the stylist's show, which usually sees her haranguing her assistants, weeping to her husband and proclaiming vintage muumuus to be "bananas." (As opposed to "Real Housewives," which usually sees the ladies haranguing their children and housekeepers, weeping to their husbands, and snipping behind each other's backs.)
"Wondering if I'm the only one who can't get over the self-important nonsense that is Rachel Zoe. Wow," Frankel Tweeted.
And because no catfight can be contained in 140 characters, she continued, "Dying over this show. If I stick a lampshade with a moo moo [sic] and a pair of bananas hoop earrings, RZ may just DIE! What a bunch of BS!"Less than two hours later, Zoe hit back on her own Twitter page, saying, "Wow talk abt no class bn friends 4yrs rude. She is inappropriate and clearly desperate for attention."
That prompted Frankel to bust out her right hook. "Known R. Rosensweig [sic] for 20 yrs & treats all her old friends like garbage," Frankel Tweet-snarled. "Being talented & famous should make u remember who was nice then."
Zoe, who was born with the last name Rosenzweig, snuck in one last digital hair yank. "Unclear y Bethanny [sic] has declared war," she posted. "Never bn anything but kind 2 her & clearly she enjoys being vicious as they say..obvi she was nevr my friend."
Okay, so the whole exchange may not be a tenth as eloquent as the feud between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, but it's just as nasty.
Still, we hold out hope that the two gals can bury the hatchet over a couple of Skinnygirl Margaritas. And if not, we smell a new reality show in the works!

Lose Rachel. Her stick makes your skin crawl. As they say in focus groups, she's "unlikeable," "unwelcoming," "unappealing." Unlike other fashion reality shows, the decadence and her obsessive self-importance, hurt the fashion industry.
Waste of air space. No viewers here.

Ok... I like both shows. Bethany I love ya gal but this really does make you look desperate for the lime light again. You do fashion for your many appearances. Why would you put down a woman who has found something she is passionate about and has turned it into a profession. I mean I must ask Bethany, how many people do you employ on a full time basis?

I, for one, speaking on my own behalf, could not care less. I also do not care to watch Jon and Kate plus Eight. I feel "reality shows" are way too over-rated and over-done.

Seriously RZ has a smaller vocabulary than a 3 grader! her obsession with "vintage" is totally lame not to speak about her appearance at Paris Fashion Week. Her attempt to speak to Karl Lagerfeld was hysterical..and no Rachel he sis not notice you were wearing Chanel. Let's talk about her grand idea to alter an Armani gown for A. Hathaway...I do not believe she will be welcome to any Armani show any soon. She also proclaims to be Marc Jacobs close friend. Would be interesting to hear from Marc what he says about this.
Now the housewives..well I took an accelerated course to understand why would women even want to identify themselves with a group of average women, with little or no education, who curse most of the time and would NEVER be invited to any decent social event. I guess the whole American phenomenon of reality TV truly made people think that money can buy class. Think again...it never has and never will. let's be truthful and admit that the main reason why we watch these people lives is because there is fundamental curiosity of how far would people go for 5 min of fame and because at the end of day we can feel better about ourselves. These women dare to talk about values, integrity and respect ...but the reality is they appear to have no real dignity. How sad!!!!!!!!
