Runway Review - Vena Cava

DESIGNER: Vena Cava

INSPIRATION: Pretty punk rock -- with a twinge of Aztec

TOP LOOKS: Black men's shirt with safety pins and suede leggings; bright orange asymmetrical jersey dress; silk georgette dress with a star print pattern

TOP ACCESSORIES: Persol sunglasses on the models

WHO WAS THERE: The Fiery Furnaces performed!

WHAT WE THOUGHT: The adorable Brooklyn-based designers have really hit their mark. Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayoc have created cool clothes that will appeal to all kinds of cool girls, whether they live in the city or country.

Their collection includes everything from an acid-wash rayon suit and jumpsuit (hello, city chick!) to a paint-splattered bustier dress (yeehaw!).
