And the verdict is...stalemate!

We previously reported that legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz had until this past Tuesday to pay up on her $24 million loan to private bankers of the art world, Art Capital Group.

Now 11:59pm Tuesday has come and gone with neither party making a move, reports the New York Daily News.

If the loan is not repaid or another agreement worked out, the famous photog risks losing the copyrights to her infamous and iconic images.

Leibovitz's spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, tells the site, "Annie is continuing to work to resolve this matter with Art Capital."

Looks like all is lost ... yet!
