THE SCOOP:
Pint-size designer Christian Siriano captivated us with his larger-than-life creations on "Project Runway." And for his Spring 2010 collection, the hair and makeup added an effortless sophistication to his avante-garde pieces.

Hair stylist Antoinette Beenders drew inspiration from Siriano's ocean-esque prints to mimic the fluidity of water. "I'm doing a modern version of a wave with a very straight tail. It's very simple," said Beenders. "Hair is pulled straight into a ponytail with a few pieces curled on top. I secure it with pins and finish with hair spray."

Makeup artist Polly Osmond took the beige tones from Siriano's collection and crafted a "modern, beachy look with a bit of a twist." Her beauty trick to creating that iridescent glow was using a lot of white pencil in the brows and on the eyelids before layering a taupe shadow on top.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All hair by Aveda. Beenders pulled hair into a sleek ponytail and layered pin curls on top. She used Air Control Hair Spray and Pure Abundance Hair Spray to set the look in place.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by VSB. Osmond generously applied white eyeliner on the brows and lids and layered Silky Eyeshadow in Champagne and Provocateur. Cheekbones were shaded lightly with a bronzer and highlighted. And the pout glistened with Christian Siriano Lip Gloss in Embrace.
