WHAT WE THOUGHT: Held in the gilded backdrop of the St. Regis hotel in midtown Manhattan, Wu staged his prettiest collection to date. His famous one-shoulder dresses (a favorite of you-know-who) were there in various hues: in gold faille cinched at the waist, in a silver mirrored foil, and in black with aqua beetle point stitching and Swarovski Crystallized threading.

Wu's daytime offerings were also impressive, although still highly luxurious. His kickoff piece was a peach suit was trimmed with tulle.
