THE SCOOP:
Rachel Roy's Spring 2010 collection embodies the spirit of a strong, independent woman whose beauty is unparalleled, so it was only fitting that the hair and makeup followed suit.

Makeup artist Bobbi Brown channeled the attitude of the liberated, Seventies female to create a "beautiful and precise eye." While lead stylist Andre Rodman perfected two powerful hairstyles, masculine and feminine, for a classic finishing touch.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Skin is kept natural and cheeks lightly brushed with Blush in Dusty Flush. A warm flesh tone shade is applied to the lower lids and Creamy Eye Pencil in Jet is smudged into the inner and outer corners. Lashes are coated in Extreme Party Mascara (available this winter) and brows shaped with clear brow gel. The punchy lip color is thanks to a yummy shade called Guava.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All products by Frédéric Fekkai. For the more feminine look, create a part down the center and apply Fekkai COIFF Strong Hold Volume Mousse. Spray tendrils with Fekkai COIFF Defense Pre Style Thermal UV Protectant and curl with a one-inch iron. For the masculine style, tuck short hair behind ears and apply Fekkai Au Naturel Sheer Styling Gel. To finish, comb hair while drying.
