Runway Review - Diane von Furstenberg
Filed under: Fashion, Best of the Season, Runway Report

A top look from Diane von Furstenberg. Photo: Frazer Harrison
INSPIRATION: Elegant globe-trotter who comes upon a tropical oasis
TOP LOOKS: Sunset eyelet chiffon dress; dark khaki linen blazer with leopard knit cardigan, tiger chiffon blouse, jacquard mini skirt; gold mesh minidress
ACCESSORIES: Giant glittery hobo bags, stacks of colorful bangles; strappy sandals
WHO WAS THERE: Candace Bergen, Blake Lively, Rachel Zoe, Mariska Hargitay
WHAT WE THOUGHT: Colorful and exuberant, DVF delivered the dresses her clientele have come to love. The designer took her idealized jet-set woman on a fashion safari of sorts with standout leopard, floral, and zebra prints. African beaded chiffon dresses completed this elegant globe-trotter's extended journey.

I love Diane Von Furstenberg -- She has designed a fabulous miniature house to be auctioned off to benefit the charity Women In Need. Please support the WIN "Homes for the Holidays" auction by placing a bid on her house at charitybuzz.com .
WIN is Women In Need, which shelters 1500 children every night - half of whom are under 5. Being a mother myself I can't imagine not being able to provide a warm safe bed for my child, yet that is what the WIN clients face on a daily basis. WIN teaches the life skills women need to care for their families and flourish independently. Over 90% of the women who graduate from WIN and find permanent housing are still in that housing two years later.
Here's the link: https://www.charitybuzz.com/auctions/WomeninNeed%20/catalog_items?page=2&per_page=10 please place a bid on one of these houses and support a WIN family.
