The Y-3 runway. Imaxtree.com

Designer: Y-3

Inspiration: The World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Top Looks: Lime green tunic over olive green hammer pants; pink net dress, red blazer and red leggings under a net skirt, orange mini skirt with a matching short sleeve blazer over black leggings.

Top Accessories: White clutch bags, black hats, chunky bangles worn high on the arm, and acid bright sneakers.

Who Was There:
Sneaker clad hipsters, Yohji Yamamoto lookalikes, men in skirts, Tavi (the cutie-pie tween fashion blogger/Rodarte muse).

Overall Thoughts: While the pre-show blare of the Star Spangled banner got us in the mood for a good game, the skirts and dresses made to look like soccer netting left us less than enthused. Though we would definitely rock the acid bright orange kicks and the sporty blazers. The best part? Watching Mr. Yamamoto try to score a goal at the end of the show on the makeshift field with an unsuspecting photographer as goalie.
