Backstage at Thakoon, we noticed that everyone was wearing little pins.
At first, we thought it was an 80s flashback and contemplated getting our mom to dig up the ones we proudly wore on our old acid washed jean jacket in junior high. Our favorite pin, which kindly told everyone within eye shot that "Your Ugly and Your Mother Dresses You Funny," would be perfect for Fashion Week.
But then we took a closer look. All of the pins sported a picture of a cute little canine, who turned out to be Thakoon Panichgul's very own dog, Steve.
The Steve pins were granted to everyone who was working backstage - hair, makeup, stylists, you name it.
Kudos to Panichgul for his creativity - his Steve pins are much more fun than the usual laminated paper passes, and they're something that you'd actually wear.
Or we would, at least.

I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. I tried all the bogus acai "diet" pills that we see all over the internet, but are just scams. All I ever lost with that stuff was money. One of my friends, knowing what I was going through, told me that she had been losing weight using something different that actually worked. http://cli.gs/GrowLean . When I read about it I could see and understand the science behind it. Not only have I lost the weight and kept it off but I'm looking younger and feeling better all day.
