Fiery and bold

THE SCOOP:
Inspired by the exotic prints and patterns of the Jewel collection, M.A.C. artist Fatima Thomas focused on bold lips to complement the dramatic designs of the clothes. She mixed together a lip color for each model to that matched their skin tone, using a combination of deep red and bright orange. The makeup was light with soft eyes, using just a hint of liner and no mascara. A water-based foundation with a tinted moisturizer was used to create beautiful, hydrated and healthy looking skin. "Foundation is to makeup what butter is to food," quoted Fatima. "It makes everything look and taste better." For the face, makeup was light and simple in order to maintain a classic appearance of youth and freshness.
