I made my way over to the HauteLook.com lounge at the Bryant Park Hotel today to take a break from the craziness at the tents, hoping to nibble on free food in between shows (when you're covering Fashion Week, you grab nourishment whenever you get a chance). Not only did I snag some finger sandwiches, but some of my fave beauty brands were there giving demos and showing off the goods. Score!

Clarisonic: Co-creator Dr. Robb Akridge showed me the awesome exfoliating power of the Clarisonic, which comes with different brush heads for face and body. Tomorrow they're launching a new Clarisonic with a punchy pink decorative pattern in honor of breast cancer awareness, and 50% of the proceeds will go to Susan G. Koman For The Cure.

Tokyomilk: My favorite gift-y brand! Gorgeous, gorgeous gift-wrapped soaps in cheeky, glittery paper, glass bottles of bubble bath with cool images of birds, skulls, Marie Antoinette, etc, and much more. Today I picked up a delish little Sparrow Perfume which smells like neroli, gardenia and rosewood. Yum!

Rock and Republic Cosmetics: Yeah, they have jeans. But more importantly (at least to me), Rock and Republic also makes a bright fuchsia blush that I could just die for. Pressed Blush in Kinky! It's genius. Rock/Rep had a makeup artist doing makeup touch ups at the lounge, so I stopped in for a quick refresher and saw their upcoming lip gloss launch called Rock the Cure. It launches at the end of October and 100% of the proceeds will go to City of Hope for cancer research and prevention.
