Lady Gagas 2009 VMA Looks

Looking like a high fashion mad hatter, Gaga kicked off the red carpet in a Phantom of the Opera-esque face mask, a couture neck brace, and a Jean Paul Gaultier dress.

On stage, it was time to reprise her hit "Paparazzi" with a futuristic white cutout leotard, fishnets, and over-the-knee boots.

When it came time to accept her award, Gaga stepped out in head-to-toe red lace, as well as a crown-like topper. Thankfully, she eventually removed her mask to address her fans face-to-face.

To meet the press, Gaga wore a Sasha Fierce-style one-piece with exaggerated lines, and glittery leg warmers.

At her after-party at NYC's Avenue, Gaga showed us her take on wedded bliss--a white mini gown with sheer overlay, and a gigantic draped hat.
