Jim Krantz, the photographer responsible for the cigarette toting cowboy, the Marlboro man, is lighting up his fashion cred. The shutterbug's work can be seen in January at Collette, the Parisian boutique. Yet, he didn't stray too far from his iconic stud-- he shot Adam Kimmel's western style wear for men's fashion week in June.

What if your job was to travel around the world searching for fabulous vintage dresses? That job exists and auctioneer "dress detective," Kerry Taylor, has it. She is preparing to auction the wardrobe of the late Vogue fashion editor and costume designer, Marit Allen, which includes found pieces by, Galliano and Ossie Clark.

What do you do when you are making your first feature film and you need costumes? Well, if your mom is Diane von Furstenberg, the answer is obvious! Tatiana von Furstenberg will premiere her film called Tanner Hall at the Toronto film festival. The feature is based on her boarding school experiences and Mom Diane issued "uniforms."

FULL FRONTAL FASHION
DSquared's Dan and Dean Caten are too hot for YouTube. The site censored a short film which the designers released to promote their new online shop. In the spot, the identical twin brothers shop from their online store for a hunky Brazilian male model, who at one point, is sans underpants-- in the buff. YouTube edited it.
