THE SCOOP: Mark Badgley and James Mischka have made an imprint on the fashion world with their dramatic and glamorous designs. And to complement their red-carpet worthy collection, hair stylist Peter Gray and makeup artist Tom Pecheux, devised an out-of-this-world look.

After talking about The Fifties and "The Jetsons" with the designer-duo, Gray perfected hair that was "dressed, aspirational and futuristic." "We looked at scalloped necklines and I thought what if the hair went in the opposite direction - making an alien head shape," he said.

Tom Pecheux rounded things out with a "universal face" inspired by film icons Audrey Hepburn and Romy Schneider - distracting beauty elements like an upward brow, wing-tipped, lined eye, and sun-kissed skin.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All products by Redken. Dampen hair with Full Frame 07 Protective Volumizing Mousse (for fine locks) or Aerate 08 Bodifying Cream-Mousse (for coarse locks). Blow-dry product through to create a smooth finish. Form an alien-like bump at the crown and pull back into a center ponytail. Secure middle section to the scalp before coiling through opening. And to finish, set with Quick Dry 18 Instant Finishing Spray.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by MAC. Moisturize skin with oil and top with Pro Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation. Contour the face with Pro Sculpting Powders, dusting across cheeks and down sideburns. A yellowish shadow (yet to be named and released next spring) that transforms into an iridescent glow when on skin, highlights cheekbones, lids and brows. Line eyes with Pro PenUltimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack and Pro Fluidline in Blacktrack for a sleek, raised edge. Coat top lashes heavily with Pro Lash Mascara. Prep pucker with Lip Conditioner Stick and fill in with Lip Pencil in Whirl. Complete look by strategically setting around forehead and nose with Pro Set Powder in Invisible - leaving everything else dewy.
