THE SCOOP: Amsterdam-based designer Tony Cohen is known for his breezy and minimal creations. And for his Spring 2010 show, hairstylist Ted Gibson and makeup artist Chantel Miller, were both on the same page when it came to conceptualizing a look that celebrated Cohen's designs without being overpowering.

Ted Gibson's sleek bun is "very simple, yet very beautiful." And the intentional out-there use of silver bobby pins magnifies the textured 'do.

Chantel Miller painted on the icy blues and satiny taupes from the collection onto the face. The iridescent glow around the temple area illuminates in a natural, yet refreshing way.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All products by MAC. To recreate Miller's pearlized look, lighten skin with Face and Body Foundation and set with a small amount of powder to maintain a dewy texture. Warm up cheeks and temples with Sculpting Powder Pro Palette in Sculpt or Mineralize Skinfinish in a tone two times lighter than normal complexion. Softly stroke a baby blue Pigment called Mute Me across lids and brush Eye Shadow in Satin Taupe into creases to highlight. Coat lashes with tons of mascara in black and finish with a nude lip.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR:
All products by Ted Gibson. Sleek strands back with Fix It Styling Gel and place into a ponytail. Twist hair into curvy updo and secure with bobby pins. Set locks with Beautiful Hold Hairspray.
